The cryptocurrency market seems to be back in stride with equities as it loses ground on its gains earlier this week.
Bitcoin, at $16,765, is trading down 1.5% in the last day, while Ethereum has shed 2.39% off its price. Third-gen cryptocurrencies such as Solana and Chainlink are also in the red.
Traditional markets have continued their downward trend following the most recent inflation data earlier in the week, which investors took as an indication that interest rate hikes won’t be going away anytime soon. The SP500 is down by 1% while the Nasdaq Composite has lost 2% in the last 24 hours.

The total spot trading volume reported by all exchanges over the last 24 hours was $21.298 billion. High volumes can indicate that a significant price movement has stronger support and is more likely to be sustained.
The price volatility of Bitcoin over the last 30 days is 52.21%.
Market sentiment today is 29, in Fear.
Bitcoin’s market dominance today is 40.63. Its lowest ever recorded dominance was 37.09 on January 1 2018.
The daily RSI is currently 41.82. Values of 70 or above indicate that an asset is becoming overbought and may be primed for a trend reversal or experience a correction in price – an RSI reading of 30 or below indicates an oversold or undervalued condition.
