Bally Sports West To Deliver 73 LA Kings Games During 2022-23 Season –

The LA Kings and Bally Sports West today released their regular season television schedule which features 73 games for the 2022-23 campaign, and 75 total contests, Kings Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Content Michael Altieri and Bally Sports West General Manager/Senior Vice President Rebecca Schulte announced. 
The Kings today also announced all Kings preseason, regular season and postseason contests will again be streamed live on the LA Kings iHeartRadio Audio Network, a custom station available on iHeartRadio, and select home games will be broadcast in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM Tu Liga Radio for another season.
All 82 Kings regular season games will be broadcast this season locally or on national television with regular season game coverage of LA Kings Hockey on Bally Sports West kicking-off with the Kings-Seattle Kraken game at Arena on Thursday, October 13, the club’s second game of the season. Game time is 7:30 p.m. as the Kings conclude a two-game homestand (the Kings-Vegas Golden Knights season/home opener on Tuesday, October 11, will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN+).
The 2022 Kings preseason on Bally Sports West begins with two special Kings preseason game broadcasts of “home” games: October 2 versus the Ducks, and October 6 versus Vegas from Salt Lake City. The Kings-Ducks preseason game on October 4 in Anaheim will also be broadcast on Bally Sports SoCal (Ducks broadcast) as will the Kings-Ducks game at Arena on October 8 (Ducks broadcast – Bally Sports SoCal).
Kings television play-by-play announcer Alex Faust returns for his sixth season and is joined by analyst Jim Fox in the Kings broadcast booth. Fox, the former Kings forward, enters his 33rd season as the club’s television analyst. 

Hall of Famer Nick Nickson returns for his 42nd season as the radio “Voice of the Kings” and Daryl Evans, a former Kings forward like Fox, serves as Nickson’s partner for the 24th consecutive season. 
Francisco X. Rivera and Nano Cortés resume their roles calling select home games on TU LIGA, roles they have enjoyed together since the 2018-19 season.  
From the Bally Sports West production center, Steven “Hoover” Dorfman will begin his 14th season on Kings telecasts, serving as the producer, and Mike Hassan will again direct the telecasts, a position he has held since 1995.  
Games will air this season on Bally Sports West and Bally Sports SoCal. As part of game coverage, the Emmy Award Winning “LA Kings Live” returns prior to and immediately following home and road telecasts on the regional networks.  Patrick O’Neal returns as host to cover the team for his 18th season, sitting alongside former Kings players Jarret Stoll and Derek Armstrong. Fox also joins pre- and post-game shows to offer viewers further analysis. In addition, Carrlyn Bathe is back for her fifth season to deliver interviews, reports and social media updates surrounding home and road telecasts.
Also returning to the TV programming lineup is “LA Kings Weekly.” The show takes Kings fans behind the scenes with exclusive interviews, unique features and more. The half-hour show debuts October 20 on Bally Sports West immediately following the LA Kings-Pittsburgh Penguins contest. A special Kings Season Preview special show debuts on Bally Sports West on October 6.
Kings programming airing on Bally Sports West, Bally Sports SoCal, and KCOP TV will stream live on the Bally Sports app and on when viewers authenticate through their pay-tv service. New this season, Kings games will also be available on Bally Sports+, the all-new standalone streaming subscription service from Bally Sports that gives fans a new way to watch their favorite teams. The LA Kings iHeartRadio Audio Network continues to feature special pregame shows and postgame call-in shows.  Jesse Cohen takes a lead in formatting the entire LA Kings iHeartRadio Audio Network channel. For Kings home games, he hosts a pregame call-in show prior to select Kings games. The first show airs before the Kings-Ducks game on October 2. Also, Cohen leads the club’s overall podcasting efforts and is the host of the “All The Kings Men” podcast. Hear that podcast, as well as other original club podcast programming, by visiting  
This year’s broadcast schedule on KWKW 1330 AM Tu Liga Radio will be announced at a later date. The games for the second consecutive year will be available via the Tu Liga Live Stream ( simultaneously to the regular radio broadcast.
As previously announced, the following Kings games will be broadcast nationally:
ESPN/TNT: 10/11 vs. Vegas (ESPN, ESPN+); 10/18 at Nashville (ESPN, ESPN+); 11/16 @ Edmonton (TNT); 1/11 vs. San Jose (TNT); 2/17 @ Anaheim (ESPN); 4/4 vs. Edmonton (ESPN); ESPN+/Hulu Exclusive: 11/8 vs. Minnesota (ESPN+ / Hulu); 11/10 vs. Chicago (ESPN+ / Hulu); 1/3 vs. Dallas (ESPN+ / Hulu).
On the radio only three current club broadcasting duos have worked together longer than Evans and Nickson (Toronto – Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph started together in 1997-98; Detroit – Ken Kal and Paul Woods started together in 1995-96; and Ottawa – Dean Brown and Gord Wilson started together in 1992-93). Fox is one of the most tenured club television analysts in the NHL – he and his former Kings teammate Craig Laughlin of the Capitals have been in their roles since 1990-91; Mickey Redmond has consistently worked Red Wings broadcasts as an analyst since 1986.
